The Museum of the Future Architecture Style
The jaw-dropping museum design, which is in the shape of an asymmetric torus, is now listed among the 14 most beautiful museums in the world, according to National Geographic. This architectural marvel was designed by Shaun Killa, who wished to display the building as a symbol of Duba’s vision for the future.
Furthermore, the mesmerizing Arabic calligraphy of this monument draws all attention to itself. In addition to beauty, they also function as window glass. Such design is the brainchild of the masterful designer Mattar bin Lahej. The lines are inspired by poetry written by the Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
You might wonder what the meaning behind this Arabic Calligraphy is. the words of the Museum of the Future were not written randomly, but rather those cursive letters actually represent 3 quotes by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, which are:
“The future belongs to those who can imagine it, design it, and execute it. It isn’t something you await, but rather create.”
“المستقبل سيكون لمن يستطيع تخيله وتصميمه وتنفيذه، المستقبل لا يُنتظر، المستقبل يُمكن تصميمه وبناؤه اليوم”
“We will not live for hundreds of years, but we can create something that will last for hundreds of years.”
“لن نعيش مئات السنين، ولكن يمكن أن نبدع شيئاً يستمر لمئات السنين”
“The secret to the renewal of life, the development of civilization, and the progress of humanity is in one word: innovation.”
“سر تجدد الحياة وتطور الحضارة وتقدم البشرية هو في كلمة واحدة: الابتكار”
